Cant install SPTD in vista x64

ive got a problem when i try to install sptd, i start the setupfile and press install, and then it says installing, please wait... and then prompt me to restart.
when i restart and start the setup program it says no version of sptd was detected, i have tryed about 100 times and nothing i try to do fixes it.

pleas help!

Please provide your complete system specs, and check system eventlog for error messages regarding SPTD (execute eventvwr.msc). Post the whole error message including all binary bytes then.

i have exactly the same problem, on Vista 64bit Ultimate RTM... sptd gets installed, but fails on startup after restart...
