Dear SPTD users!

To address issues reported in 1.43 Duplex Secure provided a hotfix: SPTD version 1.45.
Once all affected users confirm success we'll encourage all vendors to replace 1.43 with 1.45.

We have offered for downloads two files at http://disc-tools.com/download/sptdbeta
SPTD v1.45 (32 bit) and SPTD v1.45 (64 bit) - public beta versions and we would appreciate to learn your possible comments and questions here in our forum or by e-mail via our online message form to "SUPPORT" department:

Issues addressed:
- Fixed problem with burning programs based on GearASPI layer (e.g. iTunes)
- Fixed long delay problem in some programs, e.g. Ashampoo Burning Studio
- Fixed crash issue with WinAmp
- Fixed issues with some software tools like Exact Audio Copy, Nero and other programs using SPTI-based ASPI layer

The new beta version also fixes the atapi.sys issue when using newer protectdisc protected software which caused a BSOD on executing main program from disc with rmps burned on it when using DT 4.09.x.
This error initially was reported to be associated with a defect of the atapi.sys file itself, wich I couldn't approve in my case.
The error only occurs when using DT > 4.08 and SPTD < 1.45 in interaction.

This version doesn't help the installation bug that's been going around. I have been trying for a few hours now to install the SPTD-driver on my Vista Ultimate (32bit) machine without any success whatsoever.

I'll post some data here for you to view, not that I expect anything...
