I just installed the SPTD 1.45 beta tonight to fix problems I've been having between Daemon Tools 4.091 and Exact Audio Copy. The beta build fixed the problems, but I immediately lost my DSL connection. Nothing I did fixed the problem. As soon as I uninstalled SPTD--even before I rebooted--my DSL was back up.
Suggestions?

All right; later on in the night, I installed Daemon Tools 4.08HE (for 32-bit system) and everything seemed like it was working fine. An hour or so in, I suddenly lost my internet connection. I can only assume it was a related problem. I used the SPTD 1.45 installer to uninstall SPTD and also uninstalled DT. Nothing. Just can't get a signal back to my modem. Can anyone here help me?

Looks like the problem is caused either by your DSL modem, or your ISP.

Checked both of these out, and it doesn't SEEM to be the problem. I've never had a problem with DSL or the modem before.
I'm going to get a tech to come out and check for sure, however. Is there a chance that SPDT could have affected anything?

If you had everything working ok within an hour after installation, I can't see any connection here.

Yeah, that makes a certain sense. All right. I'll see what else I can uncover. I'm really hoping this doesn't lead to a reformat...
Thanks, Digger.
