I have my Daemon Tool working fine in my vista home basic
however, after i upgraded it to ultimate last night, i can't use daemon tool anymore
and then i tried to install dt , but it fails too, keep on asking me to reboot..never stops
i tried to download SPTDinst-v143-x86, same thing happen, keep on asking me to reboot
i accidentally deleted the sptd registry..
it says no sptd version was detected when i run SPTDinst-v143-x86 now..
and when i install it, it says failed to open service key...
i don't know what to do..please help
btw, for some reasons, i can't uninstall my daemon tool too

Don't use v1.43 anymore, install v1.45:
http://forum.duplexsecure.com/showthread.php?t=274
Execute regedit and check permissions of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\CurrentControlSet\Services hive, System needs full access.
And check system eventlog (execute eventvwr.msc) regarding error messages of SPTD layer, post the entire error message including all binary bytes.
