Like so many otheres, I cannot install SPTD properly. I get the looping reboot problem. Upon reboot, it detects no install, no error occurs but Windows Event Viewer reports a problem.

I've attempted numerous uncountable fixes, from deleting SPTD from the registery, setting the value to 4, checking permissions, etc.
It should be noted, as this is also prevalent in other situations, that I had no problems when I was using Vista Home Premium until I upgraded to Vista Ultimate and it stopped working. Even more interesting is the fact that I use a Dell computer which also seems another common factor. Coincidence?
I have attempted installs for 1.47 and ensured I have selected the correct version (32-bit) for my Operating System. I seem to have exhausted most of the solutions I have found.
