Just like in SPTD 1.49 Beta, I am still experiencing freezing issues with SPTD 1.50 installed under Windows XP SP2. I only use Daemon tools. I do not use any programs such as Alcohol nor are they installed. This happens randomly and nothing I do actually causes it, only way of getting passed it is to uninstall it temporary if I do not want to possibly have the system freeze on me at some point.

I don't use BlindWrite nor Vista so I figured making a new post would do no harm. I hope this problem can be found and solved soon.

It'll never be solved with any threads like this. It basically contains no info, so it's completely senseless. It freezes - what freezes? Windows completely (i.e. no mouse movement possible), Explorer only (e.g. taskmanager still possible), etc.? And without any system specs and list of software it's just guessing. This issue is obviously very specific as there are very few reports about it, and we were unable to reproduce any "freezing" yet.

Well, try a fresh install of Windows XP. Maybe you have other problems not related to SPTD.

It completely freezes as in no mouse movement, no keyboard, screen completely freezes as if a picture was taken, etc, you have to force reboot or use the reset button to get the system back to normal. Nothing can be done to stop from rebooting, I've gone out and come home hours later to find the system frozen, so it's not like it may freeze for a minute and the system may go back to normal either, system becomes unusable till reboot as I said. No errors are reported in any of the system logs, nothing is in bad condition.

I only posted because others seem to be experiencing this too (yes, there are few reports on the forums here but that doesn't mean others have not experienced this, doesn't seem as if many people post at the forums here and also you have to consider not a lot of people tend too), I know it's not a problem with my hardware since I have never had a problem with my system till these versions of SPTD that I've been playing with. I figured maybe this was a known issue by those of the SPTD team and just have yet to be notified about it or maybe the issue is being worked on or something.

This all started when I needed to update to 1.49/1.50, I had just installed 1.47 when I installed latest Daemon Tools 4, had been usually 3.47 for the longest time, which I imagine updated SPTD to 1.47, anywho I don't know if I would of had problems with 1.47 because I updated to 1.49 Beta that same day.

System Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.21Ghz
2.00GB of Dual RAM
Windows XP SP2 with latest updates installed
Only software constantly on is NOD32, FRAPS, Daemon Tools and a few others that would not interfer with SPTD. As for software installed, it's a decent size list but nothing that again interferes with SPTD, or should at least, as none are usually never running at the time it freezes if I am here or not. I do not have Alcohol, BlindWrite, or any other elumation and such software installed.

Maybe you have other problems not related to SPTD.It's related to SPTD as a complete uninstall fixes the problem and I can last days (already tested) without freezing. I installed it earlier this afternoon and for the first time in the past 10 minutes of this post (now 10 more minutes having wrote this entire post) I have experienced two freezes, which is unusual since usually its random and at least a few hours. I did nothing to cause it to freeze after a few minutes after the first freeze except use Windows Media Player and a few other small apps nothing related to SPTD.

You'd be surprised if you'd know what interferes with SPTD. Some nasty BSOD caused by dvd43llh.sys when SPTD layer is installed is actually caused by bug in dvd43llh.sys, but "triggered" by SPTD. So without complete list of installed software it's just guessing (you can mail support@duplexsecure.com if you don't want to post it here).
And the system specs should be more detailled, e.g. what optical drives, hard discs, controllers (IDE, SATA, SCSI, RAID, internal, external, USB, firewire etc.), what drivers (original Microsoft, or vendor drivers).
Also ensure you use latest versions of e.g. anti virus.

I will e-mail you a list just to be safe. Let me know any other specs you may need as well. I don't use firewire.

Hello.
I have been using daemon tools for a few years now, and recently had to manually update to SPTD 1.50 to get version 4.09 of daemon tools to install. After doing this, I noticed random lockups of my computer. I'll go away, come back, and my screen is blank, and nothing I do will affect the computer. Its totally frozen!! I checked the event logs, there's nothing there....I didn't think it had anything to do with SPTD 1.50 or daemon tools because I'd also installed some games after that...and I wasn't running any of those programs at the time.

So the other day I was installing the beta client for tabula rasa, and suddenly I got a BOSD and it said it crashed in SPTD. That's when I realized it might be the culprit. So using system restore, I restored my system back to just before I installed SPTD 1.50. Since then I haven't had a single lockup or problem, and its been on 24 hours a day the past 2 days. Before, I was getting freezes multiple times per day.

some info on my computer:
