Hi!
I've got a problem with SPTD up to the most recent version (1.56): when reading DVDs with my Asus 2014L1 in Vista x64 the drive is extremely slow; it does not spin up the way it normally would. If a disc has stopped spinning in the drive, it does not get beyond 1-4x read speed when accessing it again.
Everything is back to normal when uninstalling SPTD. The problem does not happen with CD-ROMs, only with DVDs, whether they are pressed DVDs or R/RWs.
Is there any solution to this problem, or do I just have to wait on a new version of SPTD?
The problem happens also on a completely fresh installation of Vista x64 where nothing else but the most recent SPTD-Version has been installed (NO Daemon Tools, Alcohol or whatever installed).
