forgive my bad english

i use [raxco perfect disk 10] on my windows XP prefesional 32bit

but boot-time defragmentation of perfect disk don't work,

i visited raxco website and i heard that "3rd party application would conflict with boot time defragmentation"

The only 3rd party application that i'm using is daemon tools lite 4.30.3

they suggested that update my stpd driver to the latest version and so i did(i installe stpd driver v1.56), but nothing changed.

so i did uninstall daemon tools & stpd driver but the problem wasn't solved

i think stpd driver wasn't removed clearly

because i found "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\sptd" in my registry but i couldn't remove it manually

i want to use my perfect disk boot-time defragmentation

i need your help

Open registry editor and enable all permissions of sptd/cfg key, then delete entire sptd key, and reboot.
Note that you can not change the permissions if SPTD layer is active, so if it is still running change "Start" value to 4 (in mentioned regsitry key), and reboot, then try again.
If SPTD layer is already inactive, your problem seems to be caused by other software.

Thank you for your help Digger

I did remove sptd key but my problem wasn't solved.
I made a wrong guess. my problem seems to be caused other software as you mentioned
But I don't know what I have to do anymore.

Do you have any suggestion for me?
