System hangs with 4 kernel processors. sptd 1.58-1.59.

It is a serious problem, DT kills system on processors with 4 kernels. On 1 kernels processors everything is all right, 2 kernels did not test. I have C2Q 9450 - the system hangs constantly! Other emulated soft (VirtualDrive) worked correctly.

Concerning a problem with lags at installations and small loading on system. Puzzled 3 days, has touched all possible variants, thought business in gland. It was necessary to put the one kernels processor and all became clear. Obvious problem SPTD of the driver, including last version 1.59, in work with 4 kernels processors. In my case it is percents Q9450, on a network it is a lot of messages on a similar problem, I look in a profile - at all 4 kernels. The exit one - while to use emulators of CD/DVD which do not use sptd the driver, and it VirtualDrive, UltraISO, with them system works perfectly. I hope to a bug soon fixed.

Probably it will help to look at a problem.
I have established OS - WindowsXP SP3, pure, have established the driver on a chipset (P45 Intel Inf 9.1.0.1007) and videocard (HD4850. Catalyst 9.5), has put Daemon Tools (Alcohol) with sptd (1.56 - 1.59), KMPlayer, more I establish nothing. The system is not dispersed! From hardware maintenance it has been established: motheboard (Asus P5Q bios 2102), the processor (C2Q 9450), memory 2x2048 Kingston HyperX, a videocard (HD4850), a hard disk (ST350032NS fw SN06). For cleanliness of experiment during the test have been stage by stage replaced: a videocard 8600GT, hard disk IDE Seagate 20 GB (ide controller enable), memory Corsair 512 MB, processor Pentium 4 630. The system ceased to hang only at replacement for kernel processor the processor on the one kernel. With the two-nuclear processor the test did not spend, but in the near future I will necessarily spend.

Onboard controllers (lan, ide, 1394, sound) is disable!

Processor C2Q 9450 passes all stress tests, it LinX, Prime 95, ОССТ.
Memory Kingston HyperX 2x2048 PC 800 5-5-5-18 MemTest86 + errors is not present 8 hours.
Videocard HD 4850 FurMark 5 hours.

Lags occur, if during time instalation, in a background the TV-tuner Windows Media Player or KMPlayer, happens simply hangs out of the blue less often. I will repeat, if in system the processor with 1 kernel of lags is established is not present if to put programs not using sptd the driver (VirtualDrive, UltraISO) lags are not present too!

Well, I never used Gigabyte Energy Saver, but service "GEST Service for program management"(part of GESaver) was running. When I stopped it,all works normal. Thanks for your help, Digger, and sorry for my bad english =)

Well, you seem to be the only one with this particular problem, thus it is probably some software/drivers interfering in XP, you don't use in Windows 7.

With the two kernel processor c2d 6420 all is stable, lags former only on q9450. Doubts are concerning drivers on pure system with WinXP sp3. Probably prompt something? On Win7 early still to pass! Please help!

Dear Digger, the problem consists in sptd, I took the similar computer, difference only in a motheboard - Biostar TP45D2-A7. The computer too hang. Has put the video card driver catalyst 8.11, before were 9.8 while the computer does not hang. With video cards Nvidia the computer hanged too, but it is the extremely rare.

The question, in what a problem, in drivers ATI arises (it is improbable as the system hung and with cards from NV, but is the extremely rare), in sptd the driver (most likely) or Intel processors C2Q (is unreal)?

PS Support winxp still works? Understand please. To refuse from WinXP not an exit.

Windows XP should have SP2 or SP3 installed.
There is no known issue with either ATI or nVidia VGA.
Could you describe what exactly you do (what software used, which kind of file played, what kind of hang occurs - system hang (only reset possible), lag/stutter?

I will repeat, if in system the processor with 1 or 2 kernels hangs is not present if to place programs, without using sptd the driver (VirtualDrive, the Ultrainternational organisation on standardization) hangs, are not present also.
