When I updated to the new Daemon Tools 4.12.2 it wanted to install SPTD 1.55. It kept saying I needed to reboot so I looked in the system log. The same problem happen with 1.56.

Also when i I try to run the installation it always say it cannot find it installed.

I am running Windows XP with SP2 and all Windows Updates...

      Crash!

I think that the problem was just a pre-warning of what came - a Windows crash. For some reason Windows refuses to boot now, even after a repair and a reinstall. No filesystem errors that chkdsk finds, and no harddisk faults either.... Ended up having to remove the partitions and fill the disk with zeroes and then redo them!..... Completely mad.

To make it short. The SPTD works now with a fresh install of Windows XP.
